Theatrical performance of literary works is always the most anticipated and welcome part of the year for middle school and high school students. Over the course of 6 gala seasons with carefully staged and artistic works of literature, Newton students have made their own mark and resonance.

With the spirit of “Bringing life to lessons and bringing lessons to life”, Gala theatricalization is a highly applied form in the thinking levels of teaching and learning (recognizing, understanding, applying and high usage). The stage gala has really become an environment for students to talk to their co-stars and viewers about their experiences through studying and understanding literature.
